At. Katherine of Alexandria Orthodox Mission in Carlsbad, CA.

Congratulations to St. Katherine Orthodox Mission in Carlsbad, CA (founded in 2011)  for being awarded the 2015 St. Tikhon's Monastery Bookstore Mission Grant.

Starting this year, we are awarding one newly planted mission (up to 5 years old) in the US or Canada $1,000 in books, credit and cash at the beginning of each Liturgical Church year. The award winner has the choice of spending the money on anything at the St. Tikhon's Monastery Bookstore, receive a store credit, and/or receive up to $500 in cash.

If you would like to be considered for the 2016 Mission Grant stay tuned for our announcement next spring/summer to submit your entry. We would also like to thank all of the grant applicants who participated this year. It was a very tough choice!
