New Beginnings

The foundation of our new home was started on October 16th, 2009. The modular home will be just like a regular home with 8 rooms for new monks. It will be dropped off ,God willing, on November 6th, 2009 and completed by December 1st. This is a great new step in the history of the Monastery and will enable many of the monks (new and old) to get out of the current building which has been deemed a health hazard. Also, it will provide more room for more monks so we can begin the process of growth and re-buidling. We greatly appreciate and thank everyone who contributed. God will remember you.

We have finally moved into our new house! Thanks be to God and to all of our faithful friends of St. Tikhon's Monastery who made this possible (especially to Pete Gianopoulos, Mary Romanchuk, Paul Koronchik, and the ever-memorable Archpriest Ilya and Matushka Ludmilla Adamov, and Irene Gianopoulos.) May God always remember them for their kindness to us.
